Connecting
What is it?
Connecting is the third type of reading power. Making connections is when a situation or action of a character reminds you of something in your life, the world, or another book. (text to self, text to the world, text to text)

This describes the different ways that make a connection meaningful.
Example:
Christine did not know what to do, she was not allowed to touch her dad's stuff but she did it anyway. There was no holding herself back, she had to try out her dad's new camera. She has always been intrested in photography but knew her dad would never let her use any of his equipment. She was worried about what he would say to her.
Connections:
Text to Self: I have a connection to Christine trying out her dad's camera without premission, I knew that i should not have done it but i did it anyways. I was terrified of what would happen, In the end he found out and forgave me.
